The Friends of the Fort Worth Library has supported the Fort Worth Library system for over 50 years because the Friends believe libraries are essential to a thriving community in that they make you smarter, champion literacy, do my paper, respond to change, and make things easier. The Friends help fund local library projects, programs and events including the Worth Reading Program, the remodeling and updating branch libraries, supporting library staff development and training, and subscribing to Book Page, a book review newsletter provided free to library patrons.
